Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 months customer service or reception experience
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capacity to work at a workstation for long durations involving wrist and hand manipulation
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
  • Physical ability to use computer monitors and review documents frequently
  • Commitment to maintain a positive and proactive service attitude
  • Willingness to complete annual regulatory compliance training
  • Capability to follow instructions and perform clerical support tasks
  • Experience with banking or credit union environments preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of customer service or reception experience
  • Previous credit union or financial industry experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage in relationship building and exhibit a service-oriented attitude
  • Familiarity with credit union products and member services
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance principles such as BSA, AML, and CIP
  • Ability to operate common office equipment including computers, scanners, and debit card imprinters

Job Duties

  • Greet members and visitors as the official lobby greeter
  • Update and manage the lobby tracker to monitor wait times and route members to appropriate personnel or departments
  • Serve as ATM/ITM concierge, assisting members with ATM and ITM machine use
  • Maintain cleanliness and appropriate signage in the main lobby area
  • Assist members with Safe Deposit Box access when applicable
  • Respond to general member inquiries regarding account information and available credit union services
  • Provide support on account services including check orders, address changes, loan coupon requests, stop payments, and statement copies
  • Assist members with debit card enrollment, usage, and disputes
  • Maintain debit card printer, verify and file debit card reports, issue new and renewal debit cards
  • Manage debit card inventory ensuring it is verified, balanced, and secured under dual control daily
  • Handle member ID card issuance
  • Order supplies for Member Service Department
  • Perform overflow clerical duties within the branch
  • Prepare and forward data and documents as requested by staff
  • Distribute incoming mail and schedule FedEx pick-ups
  • Comply with regulatory requirements including BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, and Member Due Diligence
  • Complete annual BSA/AML compliance training
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
