Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum six months customer service or reception experience
- Credit union or financial experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Proficient vision required for computer and document viewing
- Clear speech and hearing for effective communication
- Ability to manipulate wrist/hand and remain at a workstation for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of customer service or reception experience
- Experience in a credit union or financial institution preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability in relationship building and service orientation
- Familiarity with financial products and e-services
- Ability to follow regulatory compliance standards
- Proficiency with computer and office equipment including ATM and ITM machines
Job Duties
- Greet members and visitors as the official greeter and first point of contact
- Update and monitor lobby tracker and route members to appropriate credit union personnel
- Serve as ATM/ITM Concierge and provide guidance on usage
- Ensure the lobby area is neat and properly signed
- Monitor wait times and keep members informed of next available staff
- Maintain knowledge of credit union products and services
- Assist members with Safe Deposit Box access
- Answer general member questions regarding account information and available services
- Provide account services such as check orders, address changes, loan coupon requests, stop payments, and statement copies
- Assist members with ATM/Debit Card usage, enrollment, and e-services including online banking
- Maintain and verify debit card inventory and printer, issue debit cards and renewals
- Assist with debit card disputes and explain smart card features and benefits
- Perform clerical duties and order supplies for the Member Service Department
- Distribute incoming mail, schedule FedEx pick-up, and prepare member documents as instructed
- Comply with Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC, Customer Identification Program, and Member Due Diligence regulations
- Complete annual BSA/AML compliance training
- Perform other duties as assigned
