Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred
  • minimum of 2 years experience in customer service environment providing guest hosting, concierge, or reception services
  • experience working within a corporate environment in concierge, host, or reception role
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • must be customer focused, organized, and professional
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to remain calm and effectively communicate with demanding customers

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone
  • answer or refer inquiries promptly
  • provide an exceptional customer service experience to all colleagues and guests
  • ensure guests are greeted courteously and their needs anticipated at all times
  • direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories and providing instructions
  • maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges, conducting monthly headcounts and space confirmations
  • ensure consistent communication with various departments about guest arrivals and departures
  • maintain telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions and answering incoming phone inquiries
  • recognize and greet key customer personnel, executives, and their guests proactively
  • maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • resolve guest or colleague challenges swiftly using operational knowledge of the lobby and reception
  • document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs among work teams
  • implement new procedures swiftly as directed by senior management
  • keep the reception desk constantly manned and tidy
  • contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
