Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience helpful
- Experience with computerized POS systems
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to perform sewing and garment preparation tasks
- Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds
- Good visual acuity including near, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception

Job Duties
- Welcome customers with genuine and friendly enthusiasm over phone, virtual chats, and in person
- Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service
- Meet all service vows including prepare, welcome, meet needs and be there for all customers
- Provide exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously
- Communicate how alterations improve garment fit and promote personalization options
- Maintain store standards including cleanliness and promotional readiness
- Greet and escort alterations customers for appointments
- Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise
- Inspect garments according to quality control guidelines
- Build long-term customer relationships
- Support inventory management including processing special orders and pickups
- Process transactions accurately and support cash wrap behaviors
- Seek assistance from Alterations Manager for unresolved customer issues
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
- Perform duties assigned by store management
