Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for 6-8 hours
- availability to work evenings and weekends
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate clearly
- basic math skills for transaction processing
- reliability and punctuality
- willingness to maintain cleanliness and order in the salon
- flexible schedule to include peak hours
Job Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- basic knowledge of point of sale systems
- familiarity with customer service principles
- ability to stand for extended periods
- proactive and customer-focused attitude
- previous experience in retail or salon environment preferred but not mandatory
Job Duties
- Warmly greet customers
- communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes including online check-in and wait time monitor
- process transactions and issue receipts
- maintain general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
- manage the flow of customers between check-in and service
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front desk and lobby area
- manage answering phone
- inform customers about services
- update customer records with contact information
- assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
- commit to work a flexible schedule including peak times
- demonstrate dedication to great customer service
- work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- resolve customer issues effectively
