Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to stand for 6-8 hours
  • availability to work evenings and weekends
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to communicate clearly
  • basic math skills for transaction processing
  • reliability and punctuality
  • willingness to maintain cleanliness and order in the salon
  • flexible schedule to include peak hours

Job Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet customers
  • communicate and educate customers on Great Clips processes including online check-in and wait time monitor
  • process transactions and issue receipts
  • maintain general knowledge of retail products and make recommendations
  • manage the flow of customers between check-in and service
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front desk and lobby area
  • manage answering phone
  • inform customers about services
  • update customer records with contact information
  • assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
  • commit to work a flexible schedule including peak times
  • demonstrate dedication to great customer service
  • work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • resolve customer issues effectively
