Job Duties

  • Modeling company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • Support the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) process by helping to get patients to come into the office and ensuring they are comfortable during their visit
  • Schedule appointments that result in each healthcare provider having a smooth and productive day
  • Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
  • Answer telephones in a timely manner and handle all calls with efficiency and thoroughness
  • Ensure that all tasks on the front office checklist are completed daily
  • Post payments to patient accounts in accordance with company policies
  • Act as a subject matter expert in practice management system for patient registration, e-check-in, and maintaining accurate account information
  • Efficiently check in patients, obtain necessary consents, and promptly notify back office of patient arrivals
  • Confirm all patient appointments according to office confirmation policies at least two days in advance
  • Ensure all patient messages received from the Contact Center are returned and resolved timely
  • Participate actively in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of business imperatives and how the role impacts key metrics
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS brand with decisions consistent with the brand framework
  • Support clinician efforts in patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies
  • Ensure compliance with company, state, federal, and regulatory policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
