Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of reception experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Basic computer proficiency including data entry and email usage
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Job Duties

  • Provide hospital telecommunication services through telephones, pagers, paging system, radio, or computer
  • Connect communication between visitors, callers, staff, patients, and patients' families
  • Maintain records related to telecommunications such as long distance phone calls, on-call employees, and pages
  • Integrate hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
  • Ensure confidentiality and adhere to quality and safety standards
  • Respond professionally and promptly to communication requests
  • Assist in coordinating communication flow within the hospital
