Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in receptionist or administrative roles preferred
- Ability to work in a school environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing work demands
- Ability to interact professionally with students, parents, staff, and visitors
- Ability to sit, stand, walk and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be available to work on-site
- Must handle interruptions and work under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred
- Experience working in a school or educational environment is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Professional and courteous demeanor at all times
Job Duties
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff in a professional and friendly manner
- Monitor visitor access and maintain visitor sign-in/out logs
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide accurate information to callers
- Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing as needed
- Manage announcements and communication to staff and students
- Maintain an updated directory of staff and important contacts
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the campus leadership team
- Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and data entry as required
- Support campus staff with clerical tasks such as copying, scanning, and faxing
- Monitor student attendance and assist with recording tardies, early releases, and absences
- Communicate with parents regarding student attendance issues
- Assist students with minor health concerns and contact the nurse as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area
- Assist with special events, parent meetings, and school functions
- Perform other duties as assigned by the campus principal or administrative staff
