Job Requirements

  • One year of experience in clerical office work, reception, scheduling, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment
  • Excellent phone technique
  • Prior experience in a public or customer service role
  • Ability to work on-call shifts including 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm, and 11pm to 7am
  • Strong communication skills
  • Friendly and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Assist and direct residents to most appropriate department or person to meet their needs
  • Provide assistance and information to employees, residents, and guests via phone, memo, fax, email, or in person
  • Greet and assist visitors and guests interested in residency and provide brochures
  • Order office supplies, equipment, and other necessary items
  • Assist with maintenance of office equipment and train staff on usage
  • Accept payments or bill accounts for additional services
  • Manage the team's schedule
  • Help provide security by screening visitors, responding to alarms, and notifying first responders
  • Receive and record packages and floral deliveries, notifying staff or residents and preparing birthday cards for residents
