Job Duties
- Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival and dismissal
- respond to patient questions and concerns
- answer telephones and manage incoming calls
- schedule appointments and maintain the appointment book
- confirm appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancellations
- register patients on the sign-in sheet
- post charges and payments to patient accounts
- check voicemail daily
- maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
- assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
- verify and update patient information in the system
- coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize waiting times
- handle patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance
- provide information about dental services and procedures
- manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is well stocked
- assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
