Job Duties

  • Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival and dismissal
  • respond to patient questions and concerns
  • answer telephones and manage incoming calls
  • schedule appointments and maintain the appointment book
  • confirm appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancellations
  • register patients on the sign-in sheet
  • post charges and payments to patient accounts
  • check voicemail daily
  • maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
  • assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
  • verify and update patient information in the system
  • coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and minimize waiting times
  • handle patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance
  • provide information about dental services and procedures
  • manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is well stocked
  • assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
