Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional assistant/receptionist position
  • Customer service approach to reception for external visitors and campus employees
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 software including Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Prior experience sorting/distributing mail, shipping and receiving preferred
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Responsible for visitor management and following security protocols at assigned building entry point
  • General office organization, including reception, ordering supplies, faxing, shipping, collaboration with local vendors, etc.
  • Perform administrative duties in conformity with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other tasks as needed
