Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of multi-line telephone switchboard experience preferably in healthcare
- Ability to handle clerical and administrative duties efficiently
- Capacity to work occasional overtime and flexible hours
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience on a multi-line telephone switchboard preferably in a healthcare environment
- Experience in hospital administrative functions preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple clerical tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with data entry and scheduling
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and flexible hours
Job Duties
- Greet and assist all visitors following the facility guest relations program
- Answer and disseminate incoming calls on the switchboard promptly and professionally
- Document incoming deliveries and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Prepare weekday deposits and reconcile monthly petty cash and daily dietary cash
- Maintain the receptionist schedule and coordinate shift coverage including serving as backup
- Assist with clerical duties for the Admissions department including collating admission folders and data entry
- Coordinate outside meetings, stamp, date and distribute lab results, and input authorization letters in patient files
