Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • Support the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) process by helping to get patients into the office and ensuring they are comfortable during their visit
  • Schedule appointments that support a smooth, productive day for healthcare providers
  • Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area during their wait time
  • Answer telephones promptly and handle all calls efficiently and thoroughly
  • Complete all daily tasks on the front office checklist
  • Post payments to patient accounts according to company policies
  • Serve as subject matter expert in practice management system for patient registration, e-check-in, and account accuracy
  • Efficiently manage patient check-in, obtain necessary consents, and promptly notify back office of arrivals and patient information
  • Confirm all patient appointments in accordance with office policies at least 2 days in advance
  • Return and resolve all patient messages from the Contact Center in a timely manner
  • Participate actively in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
  • Understand business imperatives and their impact on performance metrics
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand and make decisions consistent with the brand framework
  • Support clinicians on patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in line with company policies
  • Ensure compliance with company, state, federal, and regulatory policies
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
