Job Requirements
- Valid state licensure in speech-language pathology
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Ability to perform detailed assessments and develop treatment plans
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with relevant clinical and electronic health record software
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in speech-language pathology
- State licensure as a speech-language pathologist
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
- Experience in acute rehabilitation or similar healthcare settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Job Duties
- Conduct speech, language, cognitive and swallowing assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide evidence-based therapy to patients with communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Educate patients and families about conditions and therapies
- Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities
