Job Requirements

  • Valid state licensure in speech-language pathology
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred
  • Ability to perform detailed assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with relevant clinical and electronic health record software

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in speech-language pathology
  • State licensure as a speech-language pathologist
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Experience in acute rehabilitation or similar healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Job Duties

  • Conduct speech, language, cognitive and swallowing assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Provide evidence-based therapy to patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
  • Educate patients and families about conditions and therapies
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities
