Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience with multi-line telephone switchboard
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 4:30 pm to 11:00 pm
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle administrative duties efficiently
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Two years experience operating a multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare environment
- Experience in a hospital environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide clerical support and manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with data processing related to patient admissions and discharges
Job Duties
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk
- Check in patients for assessment
- Answer and route calls using a multi-line telephone switchboard
- Accept and direct incoming deliveries
- Provide clerical support as requested
- Maintain the appearance of the lobby and triage rooms
- Enter patient admissions, discharges, and physician/bed/unit transfers
