Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of a secretarial science program or minimum six months clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines for post-acute care facilities
- Capacity to interpret and implement departmental policies
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with associates and vendors
- Commitment to confidentiality and compliance
- Understanding of company policies including harassment and code of conduct
- Ability to manage multiple tasks including sitting, standing, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, reaching, and moving intermittently
- Excellent English language skills
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university OR have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
- Ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
- Maintain professional working relationships
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to the company’s code of conduct
Job Duties
- Service as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
