Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completed secretarial science program or six months clerical experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • Knowledge of post acute care laws, regulations, and guidelines
  • Ability to interpret and implement departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Competency in patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Maintain professional relationships
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
  • Adhere to the company Code of Conduct and complete mandatory training

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Successfully completed a secretarial science program from accredited college or university OR have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
  • Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
  • Ability to make independent decisions when warranted
  • Strong understanding of patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Maintain professional working relationships
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
  • Familiarity with company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
  • Uphold integrity and professionalism by adhering to the company Code of Conduct and completing mandatory compliance training

Job Duties

  • Service as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
  • Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
