Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Prior coursework or on-the-job training in dentistry, insurance, or business preferred
- Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurance processes

- Understanding of financial metrics and local market competition

Job Duties
- Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
- Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by assisting patients in the office and ensuring they are comfortable
- Schedule appointments to facilitate smooth and productive healthcare provider days
- Interact and communicate professionally with patients and guests in the reception area
- Answer telephones promptly and handle all calls efficiently
- Complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
- Post payments to patient accounts according to Company policies
- Serve as subject matter expert in the practice management system for patient registration and e-check-in
- Efficiently manage patient check-in including obtaining necessary consents and notifying the back office timely
- Confirm all patient appointments following office confirmation policies
- Return and resolve patient messages from the Contact Center promptly
- Participate actively in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
- Understand business imperatives and their impact on office metrics
- Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions consistent with the brand framework
- Support clinician-patient education on the Mouth-Body Connection
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in line with company policies
- Ensure compliance with Company, State, Federal and regulatory policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
