Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • at least one year of clerical experience preferred
  • helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
  • excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skill, both verbal and written
  • must be able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
  • professional appearance and demeanor
  • strong computer skills, proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn customized programs quickly

Job Duties

  • Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents
  • answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate, transferring callers to an associate's voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
  • greets visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner
  • assists in ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
  • act as main point of contact for residents, family members, and guests
  • helps with related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, collating, and any other tasks as requested by the supervisor
  • performs other duties as assigned
