Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- at least one year of clerical experience preferred
- helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skill, both verbal and written
- must be able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
- professional appearance and demeanor
- strong computer skills, proficient in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn customized programs quickly

Job Duties
- Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents
- answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate, transferring callers to an associate's voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
- greets visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner
- assists in ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
- act as main point of contact for residents, family members, and guests
- helps with related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, collating, and any other tasks as requested by the supervisor
- performs other duties as assigned
