Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in a dental or healthcare office preferred

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework
  • Support the Perfect Patient Experience process by welcoming patients and ensuring their comfort during visits
  • Schedule appointments to ensure each healthcare provider has a smooth and productive day
  • Interact and communicate with patients and guests in the reception area
  • Answer telephones promptly and efficiently handle all calls
  • Complete all tasks on the front office checklist daily
  • Post payments to patient accounts in compliance with company policies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in practice management systems for patient registration and account accuracy
  • Efficiently check in patients, obtain necessary consents, and notify back office of patient arrivals with pertinent information
  • Confirm patient appointments in line with company policies at least two days in advance
  • Return and resolve all patient messages from the Contact Center promptly
  • Actively participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings
  • Understand business imperatives and how the role impacts key performance metrics
  • Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand by making decisions consistent with the brand framework
  • Support clinician efforts in patient education regarding the Mouth-Body Connection
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor according to company policies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies as well as state and federal regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
