Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Interest in exercise science, sports performance, and fitness preferred
  • Students pursuing physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program strongly preferred

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate staff
  • Answer the phone and route calls appropriately
  • Schedule and confirm new and returning patient appointments
  • Minimize cancellations and empty appointment slots
  • Collect co-payments at time of service and gather patient insurance and privacy forms
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Educate patients about their insurance and physical therapy treatment plans
  • Assist with physical therapy aide duties when applicable
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
