Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum six months experience in clerical role or successful completion of secretarial science program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Knowledge of post-acute care facility practices, procedures, laws, and regulations
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to follow company policies and code of conduct
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
  • Proficient in English language skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in a post-acute care facility
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
  • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
  • Maintains professional working relationships with all associates and vendors

Job Duties

  • Service as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
  • Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
