Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in office administration or program coordination
- Ability to communicate in American Sign Language
- Strong knowledge of relevant confidential information policies
- Proficiency with computer software programs such as MS Word and Excel
- Ability to handle both complex and routine administrative tasks
- Commitment to workplace safety and Title IX compliance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one year of experience with office administration, program coordination, or related field
- Ability to communicate in American Sign Language
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to ensure discretion and confidentiality
- Knowledge of policies related to confidential information release
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, file maintenance, and database management
- Experience working across university departments and external groups
Job Duties
- Greets and signs patients into SHS and schedules follow-up appointments
- Responds to incoming calls and inquiries to SHS
- Checks, verifies, and edits data in Medicat to ensure accurate input
- Inputs correct patient data when creating a new Medical record
- Inputs and retrieves alphabetical and numerical data using knowledge of Medicat
- Receives and routes medical information to and from SHS staff members
- Assists with coordinating the provisions of the student health insurance program
