Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • one to three years prior relevant experience
  • ability to multitask effectively
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency with computers and common software applications
  • ability to interact professionally with employees and visitors
  • capacity to perform clerical duties

Job Qualifications

  • One to three years prior relevant experience
  • ability to work on various assignments simultaneously and communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and visitors
  • working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate automated systems as well as software packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • high school graduate or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming telephone calls
  • determine purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel or departments
  • take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable
  • answer questions about the organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information
  • welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
  • monitor visitor access and issue passes when required
  • perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating
