Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience answering inbound phone calls and knowledge of multiline phone systems
  • Experience with standard office procedures including filing, record keeping and the use of standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers and fax machines

  • Proficiency in using office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, and fax machines
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Receives visitors and employees with courteous attitude and assists with services or directions
  • Ensures facility security by maintaining sign-in sheets and issuing visitor badges
  • Answers and routes incoming phone calls and takes messages
  • Maintains orderly reception area to uphold company image
  • Pages staff via paging system when appropriate
  • Responds to emergency calls according to procedure
  • Handles incoming and outgoing packages and mail
  • Provides maintenance for office equipment and notifies when repairs are needed
  • Maintains logs and records for office supplies and equipment
  • Performs general office duties and administrative support as assigned
