Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 1 year of outpatient or behavioral experience preferred
  • 1 plus years of front desk or receptionist experience
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus
  • Active CPR certification
  • Active CPI certification
  • Computer literacy
  • Previous knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Outlook
  • Attention to detail and multitasking
  • Professional and reliable
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Customer service oriented
  • Understands and upholds all privacy laws and organizational policies related to the protection of sensitive patient information HIPAA compliance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide clients with initial and renewal visit paperwork including office policies and required documentation for signature
  • Accurately schedule and reschedule appointments for individual and group services in a timely manner
  • Prepare update and maintain accurate client profiles using electronic practice management software
  • Collect co-payments co-insurance and private pay client payments as needed
  • Assist with communication between clients and providers ensuring messages and needs are relayed clearly and efficiently
  • Support prospective clients by answering questions and responding to inquiries about the practice and services offered
  • Submit medical records to requesting parties upon receipt of proper release forms and required documentation
  • Greet clients upon arrival and communicate relevant needs to clinical staff promptly notify providers of changes or anticipated issues with the daily schedule
