Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for 6-8 hours
- Commitment to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Basic math skills for transaction processing
- Ability to work flexible schedule including peak business times
- Physical capability to maintain a fast-paced work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist role preferred
- Basic knowledge of salon services and retail products a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic computer operations
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
Job Duties
- Warmly greet customers
- Communicate and educate the customer on Great Clips processes, Online Check-in and the Wait Time Monitor
- Process transactions and issue receipts
- General knowledge of retail products and the ability to make recommendation
- Manage the flow of customers between check in and the service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
- Manage answering phone
- Inform customers about services
- Update customer records with contact information
- Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
- Commitment to work a flexible schedule, including peak times
- Dedication to great customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to efficiently and effectively resolve customer issues
