Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of medical office procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of medical records management
  • Skill in operating computers and office equipment
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with patients and clinical staff
  • High school diploma
  • Two years medical office experience
  • Excellent computer and communication skills
  • Additional appropriate education may substitute for one or two years medical office experience

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff

Job Duties

  • Perform administrative duties for physicians and clinical team
  • Navigate patients through their care process
  • Travel with assigned physician between offices if required
  • Cover patient navigator duties at various locations as needed during PTO coverage
  • Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and clinical staff
  • Operate office equipment including computer systems, multi-line phones, fax machine and copier
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality
