Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Considerable knowledge of general office procedures and processes
- Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Apps
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using various communication techniques and tools
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school system staff, students, parents, external agencies, vendors, and the community
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a clerical related field preferred
- Considerable knowledge of general office procedures and processes
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, external agencies, vendors, and the community
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Apps
Job Duties
- Perform a variety of general office duties to support school or office activities including receiving telephone calls and greeting visitors
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist other staff and respond to requests for information
- Maintain and update records and prepare documents
- Administer medication to students according to policies and procedures and maintain an organized health room including ordering health supplies and providing first aid treatment
- Notify employees of visitors, mail, or other materials waiting
- Assist administrators and other staff with typing and word processing tasks
- Maintain routine office files and records related to student or instructional materials
- Supervise and respond to the needs of students and communicate with parents and guardians as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
