Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in administrative or receptionist role preferred
  • proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask and prioritize
  • customer service experience
  • bilingual skills preferred
  • attention to detail
  • reliability
  • ability to work Monday through Friday 9am-5pm on-site at West Ridge office in Chicago

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma preferred
  • knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • knowledge of computer and data entry is required
  • bilingual preferred in Cantonese, Mandarin and English while other dialects are a plus

Job Duties

  • Greets and directs clients to appropriate programs or staff members
  • manages the daily sign-in logs
  • manages the order of client appointments in the waiting area
  • answers incoming calls and screens and directs to appropriate programs or staff members
  • takes messages from callers and visitors
  • data entry for different departments
  • maintains and monitors office and janitorial supplies
  • provides general administrative and clerical support
  • handles incoming and outgoing mail
  • monitors visitors' access and maintains security awareness
  • handles petty cash
  • manages checks and cash received and prepares for deposit
  • performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
