Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
- ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence
- effective oral presentation skills
- basic arithmetic skills
- ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
- ability to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier
- willingness to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- successful completion of Atria training programs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three years related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
- basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
- successful completion of Atria specified training programs
- ability to comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
- effective communication skill in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
- ability to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board, beeper, and photocopier
- flexibility to work various schedules and shifts
Job Duties
- Answers incoming telephone calls in a cheerful and marketing oriented way
- determines purpose of callers
- forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
- Retrieves messages from voicemail and forwards to appropriate personnel
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when personnel are unavailable
- Answers general questions about the community and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
- welcomes on-site visitors and announces them to appropriate personnel
- coordinates guestroom reservations
- maintains current list of residents hospitalized
- updates appointment calendars including transportation and beauty
- receives, sorts, and routes mail and publications
- distributes written communications and accepts deliveries
- maintains copy and fax machines and assists users
- creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, and reports
- performs clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating
- orders, receives, and maintains office supplies
- collects rent checks and store purchases and provides information to bookkeeping
- may drive company vehicle to various destinations
- performs other duties as assigned
