Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a high-volume customer service position
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently

Job Duties
- Welcome all visitors including funeral home personnel and family members
- Gather necessary information from visitors to facilitate meetings with appropriate Medical Examiner staff
- Answer phone calls and messages ascertain the nature of calls determine where to direct them and provide information within authorized limits
- Maintain and file data relative to calls and visits
- Assist in the creation of cremation permits releasing of bodies to verified funeral homes and uploading toxicology and autopsy reports
- Upload death certificates to the state database
- Prepare case files for doctors
- Assist with other office administrative duties and projects as assigned
