Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of relevant medical office experience
  • Proficiency with Athena, MyChart, Epic, or comparable EHR systems
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Reliable transportation for travel between locations
  • Capacity to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods
  • Dependable with strong punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • 1+ years of previous medical office experience required
  • Athena, MyChart, Epic, or other EHR experience and proficiency required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills necessary
  • Detail oriented with ability to multitask
  • Comfortable scheduling and checking in patients
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Able to walk, stand or sit throughout the day
  • Punctual and dependable

Job Duties

  • Greeting every patient with compassion
  • Accurately completing and updating patients' insurance information
  • Verifying insurance eligibility
  • Accurately utilizing the Electronic Health Record system
  • Completing the check in/out process
  • Scheduling appointments for patients and providers
  • Walking patients to the clinical area and instructing them on exam preparation
  • Protecting patient health information and patient confidentiality at all times
  • Following Practice and Billing policies
