Job Requirements
- 1 plus years of front desk or receptionist experience
- Experience working within a behavioral health outpatient or inpatient facility a plus
- Spanish language proficiency is a benefit
- High school diploma
Job Qualifications
- Ability to operate a personal computer
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Reliable, professional, courteous, and patient
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Understanding of and commitment to the appropriate protection of confidential patient information
- Active CPR certification
Job Duties
- Provide the client's initial and renewal visit paperwork for completion including office policies and required documents for signature
- Accurately schedule and reschedule client appointments for individual and group practice in a timely manner
- Prepare, update, and maintain accurate client profiles utilizing electronic file practice management software
- Collect co-pay/co-insurance and private client payments
- Assist with communication between clients and providers
- Assist prospective clients by answering questions and inquiries about our practice
- Submit records to inquiring parties with proper release forms and materials documentation
- Communicate the arrival of a patient and their needs to the clinical staff and notify the providers of any changes/anticipated issues with the daily schedule
