Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year office experience
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • must have initiative and ability to react in a positive and spontaneous manner
  • must be self motivated
  • ability to follow specific instructions carefully and general instructions completely
  • must possess ability to meet deadlines and function efficiently despite frequent distractions and interruptions
  • must be able to remain calm in emergency situations
  • must handle multiple tasks
  • ability to be cooperative and courteous despite simultaneous demands
  • ability to work independently
  • must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of one year office experience
  • ability to communicate efficiently using proper speech and grammar
  • experience working with a computer preferred
  • thorough knowledge and skill in typing and use of office equipment
  • self motivated

Job Duties

  • Manage a busy telephone and two-way radio system
  • dispatch to drivers
  • receive and dispense oral and written information in a courteous and professional manner
  • use a computer and/or typewriter to produce business correspondence accurately and efficiently
  • maintain confidentiality of all information learned in the performance of duties
  • sort and distribute departmental mail
  • label resident clothing upon move-in
