Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Minimum of one (1) year receptionist experience required
- Proficient in office software including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and exceptional organizational skills
- Must be able to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to operate postage and copy machinery
- Must be able to speak conversational English to communicate with residents, visitors, family members, supervisor and co-workers
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus
- Previous experience in a senior living environment or medical facility preferred

Job Duties
- Greet, welcome and direct residents, visitors, staff in a friendly and professional manner, while handling questions or concerns efficiently
- Manage and maintain records for resident admissions and discharges
- Prepare admission packets and work closely with the floor nursing staff
- Manage incoming calls, emails, faxes, and all other correspondence, directing to appropriate resident, staff member, or department
- Monitor reception area traffic
- directing deliveries, packages, etc.
- Maintain accurate information pertaining to residents being off campus via the away book, away latch log and shift pass along
