Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- two years related experience and/or training
- or equivalent combination of education and experience
- valid driver’s license
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- effective communication skills
- knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe PDF, and Excel software
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 pounds weekly
- ability to operate multi-line telephone system
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications

- sufficient language skills to compose correspondence and proofread documents
- effective communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe PDF, and Excel software
- valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
- take and deliver messages when appropriate
- answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information
- welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
- receive, sort, and deliver mail
- handle all outgoing mail including operation of postage meter and expedited shipping
- make travel arrangements
- order office supplies such as Costco items, first aid, and coffee
- lift, move, and organize inventory including reams of paper and marketing items
- occasionally survey equipment
- perform other office duties such as electronic filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining coffee areas, meeting areas, and first aid inventory
- coordinate setup and use of conference rooms, vehicles, and conference call services
- complete miscellaneous tasks including getting cars washed and detailed, coordinating holiday giving efforts, blood drives, and supporting other office departments as needed
- operate in a climate of confidentiality
