Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service or reception experience
  • Credit union or financial experience preferred
  • Ability to manipulate wrist and hands for extended periods
  • Capable of standing for extended durations
  • Close vision acuity for reading documents and computer screen
  • Clear speech and good hearing for effective communication
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to use personal computer, scanner, cash advance machine, calculator, copier, debit card imprinter, ATM/ITM
  • Willingness to undergo and complete annual BSA/AML training

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 6 months of customer service or reception experience
  • Familiarity with credit union or financial industry preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong service-oriented and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to anticipate and address member needs
  • Basic computer proficiency including use of Windows environment and common office equipment
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the role

Job Duties

  • Greet members and visitors as the official lobby greeter
  • Update lobby tracker and route members to appropriate credit union personnel or departments
  • Serve as ATM/ITM concierge providing assistance to members
  • Maintain neatness of main lobby area and ensure proper signage is displayed
  • Monitor lobby wait times and inform members accordingly to ensure timely assistance
  • Maintain familiarity with credit union products and services including features and benefits
  • Assist members with safe deposit box access and general account inquiries
  • Handle routine account services such as check orders, address changes, loan coupon requests, stop payments, and statement copies
  • Provide support for ATM/Debit card usage, enrollment, and e-services reset including online banking
  • Maintain and verify debit card inventory, issue and renew debit cards, and file related reports under dual control
  • Assist members with debit card disputes and explain smart card features and benefits
  • Support account maintenance requests and account research
  • Order supplies for the Member Service Department
  • Fulfill overflow clerical duties as needed within the branch
  • Manage incoming mail and schedule FedEx pickups
  • Prepare member documents as instructed by branch staff
  • Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and Member Due Diligence (MDD)
  • Complete annual BSA/AML compliance training
  • Perform other duties as assigned by branch management
