Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of reception experience working with multi-line phones preferred
  • prior experience working in a medical office with experience working in an electronic medical records system preferred
  • strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • excellent customer service skills
  • dependable, organized, with a friendly and professional personality
  • basic knowledge of office machines such as copiers, printers, etc
  • detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills helpful

Job Duties

  • Answer multi-line telephone
  • schedule for multiple clinicians
  • greet and check in clients, visitors and volunteers
  • create client records and update and verify patient information
  • take intake information and update records as needed
  • help manage the electronic medical records system
  • assist Medical Records Clerk as needed
  • work closely with other front office staff and clinicians
  • data entry
