Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years related experience or training
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to perform arithmetic functions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe PDF, and Excel
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and solve basic problems
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands for handling tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe PDF, and Excel
  • Strong communication skills to compose correspondence and proofread documents
  • Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
  • Ability to handle problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
  • Take and deliver messages when appropriate
  • Answer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
  • Receive, sort, and deliver mail
  • Handle all outgoing mail including operation of postage meter and expedited shipping
  • Make travel arrangements
  • Order office supplies
  • Lift, move, and organize inventory
  • Perform electronic filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintain coffee, meeting, and first aid areas
  • Coordinate setup and use of conference rooms, vehicles, and conference call services
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks such as car washing, coordinating holiday giving efforts and blood drives, and assisting other office departments
  • Operate in a climate of confidentiality
