Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Six months clerical experience or secretarial science program completion
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Knowledge of post-acute care facility regulations and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance
- Adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct and complete required training
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in a post-acute care facility
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
