Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Six months clerical experience or secretarial science program completion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • Knowledge of post-acute care facility regulations and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance
  • Adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct and complete required training

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in a post-acute care facility
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
  • Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Assist in the evacuation of patients
  • Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
  • Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
