Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 12 months of receptionist experience desired
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience operating office equipment
- Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Availability to work a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform multiple administrative tasks
- Commitment to high customer service standards
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate preferred
- Three to twelve months of experience as a receptionist desired
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with office equipment including copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meters, and fax machines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher, and Word desired
- Compatibility with PHS’s mission and operating philosophies
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with customers
Job Duties
- Answer and transfer all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Serve as an information resource to residents, visitors, and staff
- Provide excellent customer service and public relations that reflect quality care
- Perform various administrative duties as assigned by management
- Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area
- Communicate effectively with all customers utilizing strong interpersonal skills
- Use office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meters, and fax machines efficiently
