Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 12 months of receptionist experience desired
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience operating office equipment
  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English
  • Availability to work a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to perform multiple administrative tasks
  • Commitment to high customer service standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate preferred
  • Three to twelve months of experience as a receptionist desired
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with office equipment including copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meters, and fax machines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Publisher, and Word desired
  • Compatibility with PHS’s mission and operating philosophies
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate effectively with customers

Job Duties

  • Answer and transfer all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Serve as an information resource to residents, visitors, and staff
  • Provide excellent customer service and public relations that reflect quality care
  • Perform various administrative duties as assigned by management
  • Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area
  • Communicate effectively with all customers utilizing strong interpersonal skills
  • Use office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, postage meters, and fax machines efficiently
