Job Requirements

  • BA or BS degree
  • outstanding customer service skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • typing speed of 40 words per minute
  • familiarity with common office machines including scanner and photocopier
  • ability to assist with recruitment and reengagement activities
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to learn and utilize specialized online platforms such as nyc.gov/workforce1
  • bilingual abilities are a plus
  • commitment to maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment

Job Duties

  • Perform front desk duties
  • perform data entry of customer information
  • collect and review customer information forms as needed
  • input data in database
  • assist with registering new customers and reengagement of customers
  • assist with resource computer lab, front desk, phones, etc.
  • provide intake support for recruitment events, onsite, offsite and virtual
  • direct appropriate candidates to recruitment events
  • learn and utilize nyc.gov/workforce1 website
  • assist with other reengagement calls
  • perform any other duties as assigned
