Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of six months clerical experience or completion of secretarial science program
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Ability to implement and interpret departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
- Adhere to company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
- Ability to demonstrate professional integrity and complete mandatory compliance training
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successfully completed a secretarial science program from an accredited college or university or have a minimum of six months experience in a clerical role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
- Knowledgeable of practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in post-acute care facilities
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships
- Strong communication skills
- Integrity and professionalism in conduct
Job Duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors in person as well as via phone in a friendly and professional manner
- Effectively operate the facility phone and paging system
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Assist in the evacuation of patients
- Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
- Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
