Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
experience in administrative role or as a student in higher education
proficient in use of computers
customer service experience or aptitude to deal tactfully with patients, physicians, visitors and the public
team oriented, positive attitude and takes initiative

Job Duties

Answer telephones
greet and assist visitors
perform clerical tasks
process mailing labels for outgoing mail
bring mail to and from mailbox and sort it accurately
assist coworkers with documents using Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
maintain confidentiality of all data
support administration team with miscellaneous projects
communicate directly with and assist hospital customers
maintain professional demeanor and appearance to reflect hospital's image
be cooperative and team-oriented
perform other duties as assigned
