Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and peak times
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with customer interactions
  • Willingness to learn about salon services and products

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in customer service or receptionist role is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of cosmetology or interest in cosmetology encouraged
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work efficiently
  • Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and peak times
  • Friendly and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Warmly greet customers
  • Communicate and educate the customer on Great Clips processes, Online Check-in and the Wait Time Monitor
  • Process transactions and issue receipts
  • General knowledge of retail products and the ability to make recommendations
  • Manage the flow of customers between check in and the service
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front desk and lobby area
  • Manage answering phone
  • Inform customers about services
  • Update customer records with contact information
  • Assist stylists in maintaining salon cleanliness and sanitation
  • Commit to work a flexible schedule including peak times
  • Dedicate to great customer service
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently
