Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors to the area
  • provide general information regarding processes and policies
  • direct visitors to appropriate resources, services, or areas
  • maintain an orderly waiting area and work with volunteer services
  • report maintenance issues to facilitate visitor comfort and safety
  • coordinate access to the care delivery area and perform visitor authorization procedures
  • serve as a liaison between visitors and staff and relay visitor concerns
  • assign lockers, take and relay messages, assign pagers to visitors
  • answer phones, transfer calls, take messages, and relay information as needed
  • assemble charts, file, sort mail, maintain supplies inventory, transport patients, process occasional payments or other duties as requested
