Job Duties

  • Operates telephone switchboard to answer, screen, and forward calls internally as appropriate
  • greets visitors, determines nature and purpose of visit, notifies employees of visitors, and directs or escorts visitors to specific destinations
  • performs routine administrative support tasks such as filing, printing, collating, mailing, and distributing mail and documents
  • provides routine information about the company and helps resolve routine questions and complaints
  • schedules appointments, updates calendars, and serves as primary contact for conference room reservations
  • helps train new or backup receptionists on front-desk best practice standards and processes
  • provides support for meeting and event planning
