Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • desire and ability to be pleasant upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
  • ability to work varied schedules including days nights holidays and weekends
  • ability to walk or stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment
  • ability to understand follow and maintain safety standards
  • tolerance for work environment with bright dim or flashing lights and loud sounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to communicate quickly and accurately
  • strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • knowledge of safety standards and emergency protocols

Job Duties

  • Welcome visitors by greeting them in person, email or telephone
  • answer the telephone within the 2-ring guideline and follow up on missed calls
  • check respond and disperse voicemails or messages to appropriate persons
  • communicate and screen calls for department manager and Andretti management personnel
  • maintain office security by controlling access to reception desk
  • perform clerical receptionist duties such as filing faxing photocopying and transcribing
  • receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
  • create and run documents using Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency
  • assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences
  • maintain constant knowledge of Andretti brand product and policies and procedures
  • communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and coworkers
  • work as a team player in meeting guests needs and actively contribute to efforts of other departments
  • observe instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
  • attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions
  • maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures
  • perform opening running and closing department duties as assigned
