Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- desire and ability to be pleasant upbeat and sociable throughout the workday
- ability to work varied schedules including days nights holidays and weekends
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment
- ability to understand follow and maintain safety standards
- tolerance for work environment with bright dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred
- ability to communicate quickly and accurately
- strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- knowledge of safety standards and emergency protocols
Job Duties
- Welcome visitors by greeting them in person, email or telephone
- answer the telephone within the 2-ring guideline and follow up on missed calls
- check respond and disperse voicemails or messages to appropriate persons
- communicate and screen calls for department manager and Andretti management personnel
- maintain office security by controlling access to reception desk
- perform clerical receptionist duties such as filing faxing photocopying and transcribing
- receive and sort daily mail and deliveries
- create and run documents using Microsoft Office Suite applications
- anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency
- assist with guest recovery and notify manager to ensure positive guest experiences
- maintain constant knowledge of Andretti brand product and policies and procedures
- communicate clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with guests and coworkers
- work as a team player in meeting guests needs and actively contribute to efforts of other departments
- observe instruct and monitor guests for safety and guideline adherence
- attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions
- maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company policies and procedures
- be aware and knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures
- perform opening running and closing department duties as assigned
