Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- no prior experience required
- ability to type brief memos, letters and forms

- ability to operate multi-line telephone systems

Job Duties
- greets visitors and employees to office
- determines nature of business and provides appropriate information
- refers to appropriate staff members or department
- directs deliveries of items to appropriate offices
- answers visitors' and employees' questions based on knowledge of the organization, department and policy
- notifies supervisor of difficult situations
- performs various related clerical duties including typing brief memos, letters, tables, and forms
- filing
- opening, distributing and/or collecting mail
- photocopying
- maintaining logs of items such as deliveries or routine information
- posting transactions and information into computer and performing simple routine calculations
- provides support to overall office operations including ensuring supplies, copy machines, fax machines are in proper order and maintained
- reports any issues proactively
- operates a multi-line telephone console to relay incoming, outgoing and intra-system calls
- provides approved information to callers and records and transmits messages
- maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition
